Housekeeping for Beginners

Dita never had a desire to have children, but when disaster strikes, she is forced to take care of her girlfriend's two children. However, the two do not make things easy for her: rebellious teenager Vanesa and little rascal Mia both have strong wills and regularly clash with Dita. Fortunately, her good friend Toni is there for her and together they raise them. Despite all the struggles in the unconventional family, they do everything they can to stay together. Director Goran Stoleveski knows how to strike the right chord with this sensitive family drama and tightly portray the vibrant lhbtqia+ community. Stolevski is known for making films where there is room for improvisation to create truthful rather than staged moments, making characters really come alive.
